Day 157

I was in Michigan for the holidays, now I'm back in the sub zero land of Togiak, Alaska. Not too much is new, just settling back in. While I was gone there was a blizzard and my 4 wheeler is blocked in by a bunch of snow. I haven't tried to start it yet, I've heard from the others that it might be a battle to get it started. I took a picture of the digital thermometer in the other apartment building, it's a little hard to read, but it says that it's -24.5 degrees outside and 45 degrees in the arctic entry.

I'm pretty sure it didn't get above -15 today. Everyone is excited because it might get up to 9 above by Friday. Tomorrow teacher inservice starts, the students get another week off before they come back.

I feel energized by my trip to the lower 48. I can make it another semester!

we loved having you in the lower 48, but seriously have you thought about a job in Hawaii?

just wanted to say that I follow adventure and find it quite interesting. It takes a tough woman to do what your doing and surviving in them temps. I work with wendy, and just a fan that finds your site interesting. Best of luck to you.
